Clarity for important financial decisions

Boards, shareholders and management teams rarely face a single question in isolation. Finance, risk, strategy and timing arrive together, and the right answer usually depends on understanding how they interact.

The firm helps clients see their position clearly, test the assumptions behind it and decide what to do next. That means asking direct questions, setting out the realistic options and being straightforward about the trade-offs — then staying involved while the decision is carried out.

Considered thinking, applied commercially.

Typical client questions

The questions behind the engagement

  • Is the board receiving the right financial information at the right time?
  • Does the business have sufficient cash visibility and funding headroom?
  • Is the company ready for lenders, investors, acquisition, sale or succession?
  • Are governance, reporting and controls strong enough for the next stage of growth?
  • Is an existing funding structure still appropriate?
  • Could a better finance structure create additional flexibility?
  • Are development assumptions and exit strategies sufficiently robust?
  • Does the executive team need constructive challenge from an independent director?
  • How should the business respond to commercial or liquidity pressure?
  • Which lenders are most likely to understand the transaction?
